My first time here.
I'm going to arrange a whiskey blind test för some friends. We are all beginners and I need your help with selecting three singel malts that represents three different tastes. And they can't be too expensive. Have in mind that we are inexperienced whisky drinkers, so we don't need anything out of the ordinary. Thanks. |

Hi, and welcome. I would suggest the following: Glenmorangie 10 YO, a very good Highland Malt for the beginner, and at a fair price, I believe that these 3 would give you a good start. Oh - please taste them in the order they are mentioned... Have fun Dennis |

I would suggest;
Auchentoshan 10, a nice lowlander
Cragganmore,for the Speyside
Lagavulin 16,to get to know Islay
All reasonable priced whiskies,nice to start with.
