Long time ago (about 1971) I read a news that said the most exclusive scotch was one with 3 characteristics. First, excellent quality (I do not remember age or anything else); secondly, it was bottled in hand made recipient carved in stone (each bottle was different from other and therefore, they were unique) and last, the scotch was sold only for special occasions (a royal wedding, White House party for the president of that USA assuming the presidency, etc.) That news was about Iran celebrating the 2500th anniversary of the Cyrus the Great.
Now, I have been unable of getting information about the distillery which produces that whisky and of the whisky itself. Sometimes I think it was an urban legend. Has one of you heard of this or it is just a myth?

I`ve heard similar stories about mysterious bottles by major historical events too but i have never paid any attention to it,simply because there is nothing to find on the net or by the SSMWS.I think it is another urban myth. But if you ever find a bottle i volunteer to try  itWink.
Good luck with your quest.
