Hi Trey

A source, as in a place to buy? Where are you living?

Bestregards

I live in North Carolina (close to the SC border) and my father is in San Antonio. However, he's willing to pay shipping to get his hands on some stock.

hi trey,

i don't know where you are located. look under www.taiber.de and click the button 'suche' (search), and search for 'harper'. there you can find a bottle of i.w. harper gold medal.

that's a german store who also delivers into other countries.

good luck

The I.W. Harper 15yo was produced by United Distillers as part of its Bourbon Heritage Collection in the late '80s, early-'90s. It is no longer produced (as United Distillers became part of Diageo and no longer distills bourbon, although it owns the Bulliet brand made at Kirin's Four Roses Distillery), so only bottles left on shelves -- which will be sporadic -- are available. In fact, outside of a few so-called 'control states' (where liquor distributorship is via a state agency, which contracts with distillers/wineries) all I.W. Harper brands are now export-only from the U.S. It is the top-selling bourbon brand in Japan.
