"Bourbon Star" was distilled and sold by the old Willetts Distillery,
which has not distilled since 1982. Kentucky Bourbon Distillers
(Bardstown, KY) operator Even Kulsveen is married to a Willett daughter
and now owns the distillery property from which he has bottled and sold
a variety of own-label brands -- Old St. Nick, Noah's Mill, Pure
Kentucky, Kentucky X.O., Rowan's Creek, Black Maple Hill (2nd edition),
to name but a few -- created from purchased whiskey and some old
Willetts stock (now all at least 23 years old).
