just contact them. you can find the e-mail-adresses at their homepages.

Isle of Arran Distillery have some one month ago announced that they are reintroducing cask selling.

Also perhaps Bruichladdich have some casks over for selling.

Good luck!

An acquaintance of mine purchased a barrel of Van Winkle Lot B Special Reserve bourbon from Julian Van Winkle and Buffalo Trace distillery in Frankfort, KY, USA, and had it bottled as a 12yo, single-barrel bourbon. Mr. Van Winkle selected several barrels aged and ready to be blended from which to choose, and led the selector through the process.
A consortium of several other bourbon aficianados combined resources to similarly purchase a single-barrel bottling of the distillery's eponymous Buffalo Trace bourbon.

I have heard several times that there are distilleries that offer one to buy a full barrel, they will store it for a time, probably around 10 years or more and let me come and taste it once a year or something.
I really would like to do this with a couple of friends so that we could meet once a year in Scotland, go and taste our whisky and do some fishing in a lake over a weekend or so.
Does it exists?
I have surfed the web quite a lot but I can't really find any information about it.

Hi Thomas.

Try Danish retailer Mac Y's www.whiskyfad.dk where they sell new spirit Ben Nevis and 3 yo Ben Nevis for reasonable prices.

Bruichladdich might also still be selling casks of the spirit to private customers.
