How do I identify the age and value of a bottle of I have.  The only nubers visible on the bottle are:

"Interanl Revenue" seal (36A5604974)

and on the bottom of the 4/5 quart bottle

Hi ECR,

The age should be clearly stated (see above). The numbers on the bottle seem to be tax and bottler references. I may be able to judge the value if I knew the distillery, age and bottler. If there is no label or this information is not apparent then the only value of the whisky is in its taste unless the glassware is significant.

Take care
