Hi Whisky Guys

I'm considering buying a nice fifty year old scotch whisky for my dad's 50th birthday. Can anyone recommend one? I'm not initiated in the art of whisky but he has a keen palate for the. I like the novelty of buying him a bottle for his birthday - but would like to make sure I get him something that he enjoys.

Fifty year old scotch whiskies vary in price from the fifty pound mark to the thousands – so you may want to make a decision based on budget more than taste or brand. So the question is – how much do you love your dad and is a saver or a drinker?
